We are committed to protecting your privacy online. The following Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of goods listed on our website at www.grofie.co.uk.

Please read them carefully before placing an order. They do not affect your statutory rights. By using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which govern all transactions made through the website. If you do not agree, please stop using the website immediately.

Grofie is a trading name registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.

No part of this website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer, and our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon our sending a dispatch confirmation email indicating that your order has been fulfilled and is on its way to you.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, “Grofie”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Grofie. “You” and “your” refer to the customer using our website and services.

2. Age Restrictions

Persons under the age of 18 should use this website only under the supervision of an adult. Payment information must be provided by, or with the permission of, an adult.

3. Business Customers

These Terms and Conditions do not apply to customers purchasing goods in the course of a business. If you are a business customer, please contact us at info@grofie.co.uk.

4. International Customers

If goods are ordered from outside the United Kingdom, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your goods reach their destination. Grofie is not responsible for these charges and we make no calculations or estimates in this regard. If you are purchasing from outside the UK, please contact your local customs authority for details on costs and procedures.

As the purchaser, you will also be the importer of record and must ensure your purchase complies with the laws of the destination country. Please be aware that goods may be inspected at the port of entry, and Grofie cannot guarantee that packaging will be free from signs of tampering.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software — is the property of Grofie, our affiliates, or relevant third parties, unless uploaded by users.

By using this website, you acknowledge that all such content is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or reuse any material from this website without our express written permission.

6. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise expressly stated, all intellectual property rights in product images and descriptions — including copyright and trademarks — belong to the respective manufacturers or distributors. 9. Use of Communications Facilities

When using any contact form or communication system on this website, you must adhere to the following rules:

Grofie reserves the right to monitor all communications made through our systems.

10. Accounts

To purchase goods on our website, you will need to create an account. By doing so, you represent and warrant that:

        All information you submit is accurate and truthful

        You have permission to submit payment information where required

        You will keep your account information accurate and up to date

We strongly recommend that you do not share your account details, including your username and password. Grofie accepts no liability for losses or damages resulting from your account details being shared. If you use a shared computer, do not save your login credentials in your browser.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, please contact us immediately at info@grofie.co.uk so we can suspend your account and cancel any pending unauthorised purchases. Please note that orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Grofie accepts no liability for unauthorised purchases that have already been dispatched.

11. Termination and Cancellation

Either Grofie or you may terminate your account at any time. If Grofie terminates your account, you will be notified by email with an explanation. We reserve the right to terminate accounts without providing reasons.

        Any current or pending purchases on a terminated account will be cancelled and not dispatched

        Grofie reserves the right to cancel purchases at any time prior to processing payment and dispatch, without providing reasons

        If a purchase is cancelled before dispatch, you will be refunded in full for any monies paid

        If you choose to terminate your account, all non-dispatched purchases will be cancelled and refunded

12. Goods, Pricing and Availability

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions and images accurately represent the goods available, Grofie is not responsible for minor variations. This does not affect our liability for errors caused by our own negligence, nor does it apply to cases where entirely incorrect goods are supplied.

        Where applicable, you may be required to select size, quantity, model, or other product variants before purchasing

        Grofie does not guarantee the availability of any particular product, and stock levels are not displayed on the website

        All prices displayed on the website are correct at the time of publishing. Grofie reserves the right to update prices and amend or remove special offers at any time

        If a price changes between the time your order is placed and the time it is processed, you will be contacted before we proceed

        All prices displayed on the website include VAT

        Product images are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary due to enhancements or packaging changes

PLEASE NOTE: Price marks and promotional offers shown on product packaging are not valid for online orders unless explicitly stated on our website. Due to shipping and specialist packaging requirements, such price marks apply only to in-store purchases.

Business days are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Next-day or selected-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2:00 pm, Monday to Thursday (excluding selected fresh produce, which is dispatched subject to availability). For any queries, please contact us at info@grofie.co.uk.

Certain leaf and imported items may not always be available for delivery due to weather conditions in their country of origin.

Where delivery instructions are provided that do not require a signature (for example, leaving a parcel in a specified location), Grofie cannot be held responsible for any missing goods as a result. Deliveries are made between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Prior notice of the expected delivery window will be sent by our courier. It is your responsibility to facilitate receipt of your order, and to follow up directly with the courier to arrange an alternative time or date if needed. Grofie is not responsible for delays caused by access issues, closed roads, or entry codes at your property.

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, Grofie reserves the right to substitute it with a smaller pack size or an alternative brand of equivalent quality. If no suitable substitute is available, we will either automatically refund the item or, where the out-of-stock item represents a significant portion of your order, contact you to discuss your options.

99% of orders placed before 2:00 pm BST (Monday to Thursday, excluding bank holidays) are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm on Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday, subject to Saturday delivery availability. Delays may occasionally occur due to exceptional circumstances.

If you are unable to receive your parcel, please contact us within 5 days of the estimated delivery date.

13. Returns Policy

Grofie is committed to providing high-quality goods. On occasion, a return may be necessary and will be handled in accordance with the following terms.

Excluded Items

The following product categories are excluded from our standard returns policy and can only be returned in accordance with your statutory legal rights: Beauty Products, Food Products, Food Gift Sets, and Incense Products.

If any of the above products are faulty, damaged, or unfit for purpose, please contact us. Photographic evidence of any damage will be required.

General Returns

Other unopened goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt. Subject to inspection and acceptance, we will issue a refund or replacement as appropriate.

Refunds will be made to the original credit or debit card used for payment. Postage and packing charges will be deducted from refunds. Where an order qualified for free postage, our actual postage costs will be deducted. We reserve the right to deduct any additional costs incurred, including card transaction fees, pick/pack costs, restocking fees, and return postage.

To initiate a return, please contact us by email or telephone in the first instance. You will be asked to return the goods at your own cost for inspection. Grofie is not liable for goods lost or damaged in transit, and we recommend obtaining proof of postage.

Uncollected packages returned to us that contain fresh produce will require inspection before any refund is offered. Other items stained or damaged by fresh produce will be excluded from any refund.

Any goods dispatched in error remain the property of Grofie. If you receive items you did not order, please contact us within 7 days to arrange collection.

14. Privacy

All information you provide to us is treated as confidential. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use your personal data in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We collect personal information to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. By placing an order, you authorise us to share relevant information with third parties solely for the purpose of verifying your identity, validating your payment method, and authorising your transaction.

15. Disclaimers

Grofie makes no warranty or representation that this website will meet your requirements, be of satisfactory quality, be fit for a particular purpose, be free from security vulnerabilities, or that all information provided will be accurate. No guarantee is made as to specific results from use of our services.

No part of this website is intended to constitute advice, and its content should not be relied upon when making decisions or taking action.

16. Changes to These Terms

Grofie reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect on the date they are published to the website. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact us.

17. Website Availability

Our website is provided on an ‘as-is’ and ‘as-available’ basis. We do not guarantee that the website will be free from defects or faults. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, compatibility, or satisfactory quality.

Grofie accepts no liability for any disruption or unavailability of the website resulting from external causes, including but not limited to ISP failures, communications network failures, power failures, natural events, acts of war, or legal restrictions.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grofie accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage — whether foreseeable or otherwise — arising from use of this website or its content. Users access the website and its content at their own risk.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits Grofie’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraud, nor for any direct or indirect loss arising from incorrect delivery of goods or reliance on inaccurate information on the website.

If any provision in these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severed from the remaining terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.

19. No Waiver

A failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy.

20. Previous Terms and Conditions

In the event of any conflict between the current Terms and Conditions and any prior versions, the current version shall prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.

21. Notices

All formal notices must be sent to us by post to our registered address: Grofie, Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, with a copy sent by email to info@grofie.co.uk. Notices will be deemed received on the date of receipt by post.

22. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

23. Response Times

We aim to respond to all email queries within 1–2 business days.

24. Order Cancellation

Customers wishing to cancel an order may do so before the goods have been dispatched. Once goods have been dispatched from our warehouse, Grofie is unable to cancel the order unless the goods are found to be faulty.

25. Unforeseen Circumstances

While every effort is made to fulfil customer orders, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strike, lockout, labour dispute, fire, flood, drought, or other force majeure events.
